Theresa Brown
Theresa Brown grew up on the Gulf Coast of Texas and always keeps a little bit of sand in her heart. She relocated to Houston to attend the Art Institute after finishing high school, and sampling college.
After staying home to raise three children, Theresa concentrated on her career, first with an art gallery, then with Morris Strategic Investments. It was at MSI that she has settled, becoming an experienced office manager, assisting with property management, tenant relations, providing support for busy Executives, and planning and executing events.
Community involvement has always been an important part of her life; in addition to volunteering at her children’s schools and with their activities, she also served as President of the Friends of the Maud Marks Library from 1997 to 2004. Her highlight of that time was chairing and raising a landmark amount of money with a creative art project Handprint Wall fundraiser benefitting the children’s section of the library in 2001. She has also served as Vice President of the Board of Directors for her Homeowners’ Association since 2016.
Her hobbies include water sports, especially swimming and surfing, interior design, gardening, music, hiking, and following her teenaged son around as he participates in football and percussion at James E. Taylor High School. She is the proud parent of three children, Ashley, Alexandra, and Austin.
Theresa lives in Katy with her son and two dogs, Beau and Bex.
